You know your in for a good listen when Jerry is fire like this nite / tour. Just listen to Bertha and you'll know. Bob adds some fun little scat to the end of Bertha also .Rest of show and tour is so hot.
We all praise those for bringing us these shows. Example is Charlie Miller for president and so on. But it's this crew that has the right sound show after show. To them I give 100 starts for the time they put into it back then to bring us the time we have now. I huge thanks.

Soulful Jer tunes, a FOB that is superb. It is so in your face type of a recording, so crisp and so live.
First set all tunes played well.Garcia gets gnarly during Deal, unfortunately right after that Bobby and Donna come a wailing...
IMHBTR is so good here folks, so good.Jerry is communicating vocally so brilliantly. He's Gone also has unique Garcia vocals. Steel Drums and percussion jam is cool, The Other One teases along and poof it's the first verse, Bobby nails it.Jer tinkers away and it continues to tease along till 6:15 Jer begins the intro >second verse >then it drizzles out.8:07. Expected honeydripper of a Wharf Rat is next , we then rock out again with A&A then...to everyone's surprise a 10+min Werewolves Of London, i believe the first one, It's an moment for all to enjoy, if you can tolerate Bobby learning slide that is...

I have been a huge deadhead my whole life and was born 4-19-1978 @ 11:55pm, and wondered if anyone knows if this show was still in progress at that time, I would love to find out that werewolves was going on when I was born.

Subject: NICE '78 show!
Subject: NICE '78 show!
The boy's run of the Bertha>Good Lovin' openings were frequent throughout 1978 and there were some great ones( check out the 2/3 and 2/5 '78 shows which are now a Dick's Pick and NOT AVAILABLE OR POSTED FOR DOWNLOAD ON THIS SITE). This one found here is a sweet version of such. Friend, candyman and passenger are sweet cuts from the first set. The second set is on fire from He's Gone to Around and Around. Excellent goesintuhs> SMILE! What is steller though is the drums>space jams. Did someone join the boy's onstage for this portion? This is a true Dums Percussion jam with no electros! The steel drums are an wlcomed change from the ordinary. Check this one out and download it before it becomes another Sick's Pick,Yall!!PEACE!
